Diana Claitor
Diana Claitor grew up all over Texas with a touch of LA thrown into the mix, but she decided to make Austin her home at a young age and except for brief sojourns in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Washington D.C., she has lived there ever since.
Claitor has worked in everything from community theater to PBS, but her favorite job was teaching developmental writing at Austin Community College. Writing and journalism has played an important role in her life; she has written hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles and currently practices fiction and t'ai chi. She lives in South Austin, in the 04 zip code with painter David Elliott, a small flock of bantie chickens, two dogs and many interesting neighbors.
