Notes and Summary

• During the inspection, it was determined that medical staff was not properly documenting the dispensing of prescribed medications.
• During a walk-through of the main jail, it was determined that the control board was falsely indicating certain facility doors were secured/unsecured which is an officer safety concern.

Texas’ most repeated violator, LaSalle Corrections, found to be non-compliant again. Despite these violations, some of which have been fatal, this private jail continues to find ways to contract with Texas counties. Read more here:
