• The facility was last inspected by a local fire official who is certified by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection or who meets the alternative criteria provided in Government Code 419.909 on March 25, 2023.
• The facility was unable to produce paperwork verifying that the Veterans reentry Search Service was conducted.
• On one occasion there was no paperwork indicating the initial [Custody Assessment.] classification had been completed.
• On one occasion there was no [d mental disabilities/suicide prevention] screening form in the file.
• On one occasion the magistrate was not notified as required as a result of affirmative answers on the mental health screening form.
• One officer had not received suicide/mental health training since April of 2024.
• The facility had one officer that was supervising inmates with no Jailer License. The officer’s temporary license expired in February of 2026.
• On the day of inspection Administration was unable to produce a log of regular and irregular searches.
