After reviewing life safety documentation, it was determined that no jail staff participated in quarterly life safety training for the fourth quarter of 2016 as required by minimum jail standards.
During the review of life safety documentation, it was revealed that the Ansul Hood system was not being inspected every six months as required by NFPA. The Ansul Hood was last inspected on April 19, 2016.
Inmates are not being supervised by facility staff in the kitchen area during food preparation and/or during the serving/prepping of the trays.
