- After receiving and reviewing information from a confidential source, it was determined that an inmate was able to bring a cellphone into the facility, where he took pictures of himself and posted them directly to his Facebook page while in custody at the Falls County Jail. (Note: Possession of a cellphone in a secure detention facility is a violation of TPC 38.11 and is a 3rd degree felony.)
- Based on the information received and reviewed, the possession of a cellphone inside the Falls County Jail went undetected by jail personnel, who failed to conduct thorough searches for contraband
