Notes and Summary

• Liberty County was not processing the results of the suicide screening forms as required of CCP 16.22.
• At the time of the inspection Liberty County could only open doors on the west end of the jail using remote control. The rest had to be keyed.
• The most recent inspection preformed by the local Fire Marshal listed deficiencies and was listed as failed inspection
• The fire panel had 123 trouble codes listed at the time of the inspection.
• On the East end, Two-way voice communication could not be achieved through the intercom system.
• The inspector observed damaged or inoperable light fixtures.
• Housing units were observed with graffiti on the walls, along with missing tiles in the showers.
